Ingredients:

12-16 oz Green Beans
1 Lemon
2 TBSP Olive Oil
1 Teaspoon Dijon Mustard
1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1/4 Teaspoon Onion powder
1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

Wash and trim the ends off the green beans.  While they dry put all of the seasonings in a large bowl and mix together well, including fresh squeezed juice from one lemon.  Keep stirring until the mustard is fully dissolved and the “dressing” has a nice even smooth texture.  I like using a wooden bowl and wood spoon to combine all of the seasonings.

Next, toss the green beans into the dressing mixture and mix around until they are all well coated.  While you are seasoning the green beans allow your grill pan to pre-heat on medium.  Once your green beans are seasoned place them on the grill pan for 12-15 minutes, medium heat.  Use tongs.

The combination of the lemon and dijon, along with the charred grill marks create a unique smoky zesty and spicy flavor.
